          These Policies are set forth and agreed upon by the Board of Directors of The ARK, a nonprofit volunteer organization.  All policies are adopted by the Board in a good faith effort to promote the welfare of animals in a fair, safe, and consistent manner.  The Board and current active membership cannot be responsible for actions of any person who may claim to be conducting animal business on behalf of The ARK yet is unknown to the organization.  If any known member is confirmed to be acting outside the guidelines of these policies, the Board will take any remedial action necessary to correct discrepancies.
